Pros: Great looking light at an affordable price. Install was a snap, provided you already have wiring in place.
Cons: The glass shade means that the bulb will be pretty.... bright. I used a 2700k Edison bulb (not provided), the light is warm and undiffused. This provides an interesting light profile and shadows over my kitchen sink, but it also means the light is right in my face when doing dishes. I was able to use one of the shorter mounting rods to raise the light and improve the situation, and the light comes with several options, so that is a plus. However, you may consider using this with a dimmer depending on the application.
Another random issue: the ceiling mounting plate just barely DOESN'T cover my ceiling electrical box, in my case one of those blue plastic circular cut-in boxes. No one will ever notice, especially when the light is on, but it might bug you.
