As far as sizing goes, my size is 7, but since my foot is on the wide side, I can go with 7.5 or even 8. With this brand, 7 is a bit too short, had to go with 8, which is a bit too long. Still happy - warm, comfortable, great style and materials (no faux fur). Though could use a little room at the top, with my athletic calf (these are 14" at the top). The pair I bough had a defect, so, I had to return them. It would've been an exchange, but I found a pair at the local store. Love them.

I love these boots. We got a huge snow storm this year (over 3 feet of snow) and I was out shoveling for hours and my feet were nice and toasty. I like these because the material is somewhat breathable so my feet didn't sweat like in my other boots. The only problem is my calves are thick and squeezing them into the boots is a chore. After a while they did stretch slightly and they fit better but it took quite a few wears before that happened.

I wore these boots in Iceland during the wintertime and they kept my feet dry and warm. I usually wear a size 6.5 but ordered a 7. They a tiny bit on the loose side (but I later got used to it) so I guess they run true to size. They look great and they were one of the few seemingly vegan boots I could find. They stayed pretty white too. Since they are so tall, my calves would start to get a little uncomfortable after a few hours, but as a whole they were comfortable. They kept ice and snow out well, but when I stepped into a stream my socks did get a little damp, so not completely waterproof. Overall I love them and would recommend them.

LEAK!! great looking boots- they keep my feet toasty warm, but in the snow the left boot leaks. I had the boots a month or so before the snow came and I just love them. When we received 6 inches of snow I wore these boots to shovel and the left boot leaked !!! - I can't tell where the leak is, but my foot got very wet and very cold. I can't believe I spent this much on leaky boots. It's a shame because I really like the look and they are warm- just not to be worn in the snow or rain. - wish I could return them.

This boot does everything it promises as far as being waterproof, snowproof, VERY warm and great traction on ice and snow. I only give it 4 stars because of one issue. I hate that they do not fit my leg well from top to bottom. I have small ankles and muscular calves because I am an avid mountain hiker and climber. They calf of these boots fit great...to foot of these boots fit great. The problem comes in that no matter how tight ...or what I do...I cannot get the ankle to fit comfortably. So if you have the same type structure of leg as I do, the boot ends up sliding down your leg and scrunching up at the ankle a bit. The problem with that is it then smashes into your ankle where it is buckling and folding and after a long hike...this HURTS. I am still exploring ways to wrap my ankle to bulk it up to see if I can get a better fit because other than the ankle...I love this boot.

I do have to say the seller I bought from is awful though. VERY VERY unethical and Amazon had to step in and assist me in dealing with them so while I love this boot I do not recommend buying it from SoftMoc. There are other sellers and variations of this boot so I would recommend buying from someone else.
