I used this in a hotel Jacuzzi and it worked great!
Cinderella N✓ Verified Purchase•December 29, 2017
I purchased this to bring to a hotel with a jacuzzi. I used this and a few other products. It took me an hour and a 4 refills of water and other chemicals to clean the inside jets and outside interior of the tube. The combo of items worked so good to truly sanitize the tube and I saw so much orange scum come out. The list is below.

PERFECT for hand laundry!
HappyNana•July 16, 2017
For slightly over a year, I've been exploring ways to do laundry by hand in my small apartment. I have convenient access to coin washers and dryers just down the hall. But being a germaphobe, I'm not wild about using washers that others have used. So every time I do laundry, I fork over an additional $2 to run each of the washers through a sterilization cycle of just bleach or vinegar. PITA, and the expense adds up. But equally annoying, I really, really like to separate my laundry to the nth degree. That means lots and lots of very small loads that barely fill up the washer. At $1/load to wash, and another $1 to dry, that adds up quickly.
So I've been exploring options for doing laundry by hand. I have very limited storage, so that has to be factored in. I have tried the 5-gallon bucket route, and I also experimented with some very large plastic bins (punching holes in the bottom and using a plastic suction tub stopper to plug it up). They worked great, but were very bulky to store, and awkward and heavy to use. I'm already storing the rather large spin-dry machine, which works great. But I didn't want to have to dedicate an equal amount of space for whatever I was using for a wash bin. So every few months I would search for other options.
One of those searches brought me to this collapsible bucket. I wasn't sure when I first saw it if it would be large enough or deep enough for my typical hand-wash loads, but fortunately, one of the previous purchasers posted a picture of him using the laundry plunger (which I also have), and that helped give me perspective on its size. The price seemed reasonable, and I loved that it collapses, so I ordered two of them.
I received my well-packaged box very quickly and used them the very first day. I've now been using them a few times a week for the past several weeks, and I believe I have finally found my Goldilocks fit for my hand laundry! The size is very easy to manage and fits easily in my double sink as well as in my sit-down shower, giving me two options for doing laundry. The buckets also dry on their own very quickly, much to my delight and surprise. After just a short while, they're nearly dry, and a quick wipe-down with a cloth dries them the rest of the way for collapsing and storage. I keep my spin-dry machine in my bedroom armoire when it's not being used, and the collapsible buckets fit nicely right on top of the spin-dry machine, so my whole laundry get-up is very compact and easy to manage and store.
The buckets are sturdy and stand up firm when filled with water. I didn't think the covers would be of much use to me, since I'm just using them for quick laundry in my apartment rather than camping or travel. But I also discovered that when I want to use the buckets for overnight soaking, keeping them covered not only keeps the water warm longer, but it also helps to contain the scents of whatever concoctions I mikght be using for soaking so that the smells from OxyClean, detergents, and various stain removers don't permeate my entire small apartment. It also doubles as a great foot soak bin, which I also sometimes use in my sit-down shower (a great amenity in my senior-themed apartment community).
The plastic feels thick and durable, so I expect these buckets to last a very long time with proper care. They do have a very faint odor when you first open them, as you would expect with many plastic items. But I washed them inside and out with some hot, soapy water, followed by a quick spray and wipe-down with my DIY essential oil cleaner and disinfectant, and the smell was instantly gone. I also give them a light mist of the same DIY concoction after each use and before storing, just to keep them sterile and to discourage mold growth in case they're not bone-dry when stored (germophobe at work!).
I love how easy it is to empty the water out of them. Just press down, and the water starts to come out, and very quickly, it's empty enough to safely pick it up and dump out the rest without worrying about causing a flood or the water weight straining the bucket. Much easier than what I had to go through with my bulky hard-plastic containers.
I like having two buckets because it makes it easier to stage the clothes when I'm wringing them out for transferring them to the spin-dryer, and I sometimes also have a second one set up for rinsing, or just washing or soaking two separate loads at once. At this price and with minimal storage requirements, it just makes sense to have two.
I expect to use these buckets at least a few times a week on a regular basis. I will return here 6 to 12 months from now with an update on how they're holding up.
Meanwhile, I'm very, very happy with my purchase, and I highly recommend this bucket for anyone wanting to do laundry at home or on the go. You won't be disappointed! :)

We got one for our horses to use on pack ...
Valerie B.✓ Verified Purchase•March 29, 2017
We got one for our horses to use on pack in camping trips, for water and swelled feed. We have used it on the first camping trip and was surprised by its durability, It survived the abuse the 2 horses dished out and one of the horses is exceptionally rough on things and when it was a said and done it still held water and did not leak. I am going to buy a 2nd one so they do not have to take turns.
useful and large enough for laundry
Tahereh Safavi✓ Verified Purchase•March 26, 2017
Very useful. I own two and use them to do hand laundry in my tub. I live in a Manhattan walk up (no elevator, fourth floor) and the nearest laundromat is several blocks away, so I find it easier to do everything by hand and dry on a rack in the house. The 23 liter is large enough to do a queen size set of sheets and two pillowcases comfortably with room to spare, or three fluffy bath towels. The 16 liter can fit the queen set in a pinch but is better for clothes, or two less-fluffy bath size towels.
This will collapse if not set down perfectly or bumped into by, say, a cat, so I do not recommend removing it from the bathtub while full. The straps are quite sturdy and I tend to hang mine from the hot-and-cold taps in the tub (I have the kind with two handles, fortunately) while washing so it stays upright.

Holds water like a champ

I bought this collapsible 23 liter bucket to be able to try to wash some clothes on a cruise that I will be going on because it will cost upwards of $100 or more to have them do the clothes because they have no self-serve washing machines on board. I will be using it with a handheld mobile washer in the shower stall, that looks like a plunger with some holes in it. I have given the bucket a test run before leaving and it performs very well. It holds water like a champ and seems very durable. I am very confident this will fulfill my needs and save me much money.
