Well made, but I'm rather dubious of that sensor on my front forks so close to my spokes...what if? Says to keep the sensor within 4mm of the spoke-affixed magnet...and I have, and it works so far, but WOW, what a mess, if that sensor ever shifted over! No problems so far, got 100 miles on it already...works great, easy to see, clock, odometer and speedometer in English and Metric...Nothing complex about it at all...couple of 2032 watch batteries power the readout, and a strange, small 'double-AA-like' battery powers the pick-up on the forks (I'm going to have to check to see where you can even find that battery...looks like a half-length AA battery...never seen one before). Overall, good product, but that fork sensor worries me for wheel safety...

I purchased this computer in November 2016 and installed the system onto by bike. The install was easy and the directions were simple and easy to understand.
Initially the computer performed well. After approximately 6 months the maximum speed was showing incorrect readings (top speeds were reading high the current speed indication was not affected). I reset the battery in the transmitter per the troubleshooting directions and the issue was still unresolved. A new battery was installed and the computer was still showing incorrect top speeds. The other three readings were not affected.
The manufacturer was made aware of the issue through their e-mail address. A response was received promptly apologizing for the issue and advising that a replacement would be sent to my attention.
The unit arrived in a few days and again the install was easy. The replacement computer is working as expected and I am very pleased with both the product and the excellent customer service. I would recommend this Raniaco Bike Computer to others.

The Raniaco bike computer works as advertised. It is wireless which makes it so much nicer than the wired version. It comes with all the materials to attach it to your bike except a scissors needed to cut the straps used to attach it to the bike frame. Total time to install it on my mens 18 speed road bike was about 10 minutes. Most of that time was spent reading the directions to make sure I installed it correctly. The instructions are clear and well worth a complete read through before starting. Installing was easy, instructions are clear.

The bike computer comes with several modes, Current speed, odometer, clock, trip distance, maximum speed, average speed, elapse time, and "scan" mode which slowly displays all the modes to you. The display size is large enough to easily read (I'm 59 yrs old). The mileage seems to be accurate. You can easily setup the computer for the size of your tires using the chart found in the kit. It included all the batteries needed and even included an extra battery for the computer part.

Cons:
1. The computer and the wheel sensor are attached using zip ties. I would rather they be connected using something else, but they do seem to be secure.

I haven't used the bike in wet weather so I'm not sure how it will handle that. The computer part seems to be designed to be water resistant.

I bought this to put on my son's electric dirt bike so I would know how fast he was going. Wow! This is turning out to be one of my better purchases because of all the functions this COMPUTER does. I'm a tech geek so the setup wasn't a challenge to me, but I urge anyone that purchases a Raniaco Bike Computer to take their time learning it and setting it up because it is capable of a lot. The fact that it's wireless let's me switch to different vehicles when I need to as well. Great product! Great company! Great purchase! My so n's electric bike goes almost 33 mph with him riding it and will go almost 30 mph with me riding it. It keeps records of minimum, maximum and average speed. Those metrics alone made this purchase a success for me and it does so much more. I have a great feeling about this company and I encourage anyone interested in cycling, e-bikes, or even motorcycling to consider getting one.

Excellent. Highly recommended.
Easy to install and operate. Also the bright green light of the led, allows you to clearly see the monitor in the dark.
Multiple functions and best of all the Scan mode, which allows you to see all your travel information as you go down the road..
It comes with an extra lithium battery.
But it only has the inconvenient that the backup green light in the monitor, only works from 6am to 6pm; so if you don't get sunlight during this period of time, you won't be able to see your monitor.
