Incredible stuff!! This sauce is the bomb! Smells and tastes like the pizza sauce of your dreams from a great pizza restaurant! Just the right flavor in every Department. You can only get it in these larger size cans, but if you're going to be making a lot of pizza at home, it is totally worth it. A+ highly recommended!

Looking to up my homemade pizza game, I searched online for 'real NY pizza sauce' and uncovered this mammoth can on Amazon...where else? Although being a bit skeptical, the price was decent for the quantity, along with free Prime shipping, so I gave it a try. While a bit dented on top, the can arrived in decent enough shape, and I simply flipped it over for the can opener to work its magic. Immediately I was then greeted by that authentic aroma. Tasting a bit on a spoon brought back memories. And the texture was definitely unlike any of those so-called 'pizza sauces' that one buys in the supermarket. In fact, while some reviewers recommended adding other spices, that wasn't even necessary. But that's all fine and good...how did it actually do in terms of making pizza? Glad you asked, lol! Spreading it onto the dough I could immediately tell the difference as the consistency was just perfect. And coming out of the oven 8 min. later it's the closest I've came yet to creating real NY-style pizza in a humble home oven. Pro tip: add some jarred roasted red pepper to really bring out the flavor. Now I'm feeling inspired to add some low-moisture/whole milk cheese next time. Oh, and despite the large can, putting into a dozen plastic bags, it freezes flat and doesn't take up quite as much space as originally expected. Magnifico!

I'm extremely into making pizzas at home and always looking for ways to improve my pizzas. After doing research and finding out a lot of pizzerias use full red, I decided to give it a try. It's a huge container and to make it last, I split it up into freezer bags in pizza size servings. I put about 3 in fridge and froze the rest. To use the frozen sauce I just placed the bags in warm bowl of water for just a few minutes to soften them. This pizza sauce is amazing! It's fully prepared and seasoned, and ready to use. The convenience is why I went with this over the standard version pizzerias use as a base.

By far, the best canned pizza sauce. Portion it out and freeze it for later use, works great.
