Despite my 3.5 year olds having been potty trained for over a year, I was still carrying around a large "diaper bag" with extra clothes, a travel potty, snacks, drinks, etc. I knew it was time to downsize, but I still wanted to have several pockets to be able to separate things and enough room for 3 water bottles, snap cups,etc. This bag is PERFECT! I'm a neat freak, so all of the exterior and interior pockets allow me to keep things in specific places for easy access, rather than having everything bumping around in the main part of the bag. I would highly recommend.

i bought this backpack back in august of 2016, and i've been waiting a while into the school year to review it because i wanted it to be as accurate as possible. for starters, i am a pretty small person (about 5'3) and i'm in college, so i need a backpack with a lot of room but also won't drown me.

this is the. best. backpack. ever. it is very light weight, it stores a LOT, the laptop compartment fits my laptop perfectly, the side pockets fit my water bottle and an umbrella, and there are many pockets to keep yourself organized. it is also very durable. i have used this backpack trekking to class in heavy rains without an umbrella and everything inside was still in tact. i also throw my backpack around a lot, i use it as a pillow in between class, and i leave it laying around on the floor all the time. it still looks brand new, and it looks clean. the straps do not hurt my shoulders, despite carrying probably the weight of a small child. and it does not make my back sweat after walking in the heat for long amounts of time (something that i have a problem with in other backpacks). and! when i set it down, it stands upright, and doesnt tip over onto the ground (something that REALLLLLY bothers me).
before this, my favorite backpack was an $80 north face backpack. but now, that backpack is trash to me. i recently used it again because i saw it, and after 2 days i decided that this cheap and boring black bag is at least 10000000x better.

Received this backpack in the specified amount of time. I am in the Navy so I needed a backpack that is all black in color and this fits the bill. The only part that I needed to alter was an "Amazon Basics" tag on one of the shoulder straps, it was easily removed. Now My backpack is fully in Navy Regulations.

Pros: Light weight, but still has the feel of quality construction, like it will hold together for years to come.
Solid color, if that is what you are looking for.
extra sleeves inside main compartment for separation and small pockets for a phone or keys so you don't have to dig to find them.

Cons: A little smaller than I wanted.
lacks that second large zippered off area most backpacks have.

Great product, Highly encourage others to purchase especially if you are navy looking for a solid backpack that only hits you for $13.

I bought this bag for a recent trip to avoid the charges by Spirit airlines for carry-on bags. They allow one personal item free and this bag fits the dimensions. I could fit 1 pair of jeans, 3 dresses, 3 blouses, 1 swim suit, a pair of slippers and some cosmetics. The bag was full to the brim and I dont think I could have added anything more. Ok maybe my iPad would have fit as well :)
But I'm happy I bought this bag instead of paying Spirit to use my regular carry-on. It's good for daily use to carry a laptop and some essentials to work. The quality is good, but then again it's Amazon Basics - so it's good value for money. Good for college students who don't have a lot of books to carry everyday.

This backpack is great. Just what we were looking for at a fraction of the normal price. My daughter is an artist and wanted a backpack that she could draw on. She primed the area using white fabric paint and then did the drawings using fabric markers. I think it turned out great.
