I've never used self tanner before. Heard this was good stuff but for me it was not worth the effort. I didn't know I needed a mitt to put it on so used an old washcloth. It goes on streaky so you need to really watch what you are doing. That's hard when you can't see the far side and backs of your legs. It takes forever to dry, and you don't want to sit on anything for fear of leaving brown stains on fabric. After an hour or so you then have to wash most of it off in the tub. The can needs to be shaken before dispensing the foam. When you push down the button to dispense the foam, it squirts out too hard and quickly. I ended up with the stuff all over my bath rug, shirt, etc. Then I made the mistake of shaking the can again without the top on and liquid brown splattered everywhere. It does wash off well but seriously, I'll just be happy with my white legs. Way too much hassle for vanity.

Bottle arrived damaged and half of the formula was gone. I can't return because the return window has closed. Annoyed to have spent so much money on something that is half gone.

So glad I purchased this. I am a very fair redhead and wanted something to just mute the glare of my skin at the beach and this is perfect. Not too dark but does take the pinkish undertone out of my skin. No streaks, not orange but more golden. Smell is hardly noticeable. May purchase in "dark" for my legs for the summer. Exfoliating, using glove/mitt, staying moisturized does help with overall outcome.

As somebody who has never used self tanner before this product this stuff is pretty idiot proof. I went into this not exfoliating and only having the patience to wait 2 hours before showering it off and I even was dumb enough to shave AFTER applying it and this stuff still didn't streak or look weird. It's not extremely dark but it's perfect for people who are pale and want to look natural versus.

The BEST tanning foam ever. I will never go back to any other tanning brands. I can sleep in this and I never get streaks. I am reallllly pale so a lot of tanning lotions look orange on me but bondi sands has the most amazing color. You will not be disappointed!!!!
