Very sticky and durable. My ladder did not poke through. Only problem was that I have a leftover sticky residue that I will have to get cleaned from the carpet. Dirt is sticking to it and I can see paths where I had put down the protector.

Used this in a room for recovering family member in case of spills. She used a walker and multiple times a day going in and out. Her bed was in here, so she lived in this room. Over 40 days with us, and there are still no punctures or tears in this plastic! Really great product. Like other reviewers, install with 2 people. One to unroll, the other to spread and stick to the carpet. We also overran the plastic from the carpet to the tile floor outside the door 12" and it never came up or got damaged either.
