The best compost bags I have used.

I've used several brands of biodegradable/compostable bags for years. These bags are more convenient than others as they come in a larger roll, I can easily remove the box and just keep the roll in a drawer and it stays rolled. Once unrolled, these bags are as strong as any I've used, and are much easier to open and get into/onto my various cans and containers.

Good For Dry Garbage

Once I learned how to use these I liked them. You really have to use for dry garbage only, and if I knew this ahead of time I would have saved myself some consternation. If you throw moist or wet rubbish into these, they have a tendency to break down while still in the house! When I discovered this was happening, I went to the garbage bin outside and discovered all of the bags were decomposing. It was a huge mess. They were also extremely difficult to keep in place in my 13 gallon bin but I discovered other ways to use them and appreciate having them!

The bags hold up pretty well, they don't dissolve when you put wet things in the trash. But this size doesn't quite fit a standard 13gal kitchen trashcan, once there's some weight in it the bag pulls down inside the lid & then there's a mess. (the bags are little slippery & don't really have much stretch both of which probably combine to create the issue) I have the smaller bags I use in a compost can & they hold up & fit just fine.

nice to have a product that is not only biodegradable but does not fall apart on you. UNNI is a great company and offers biodegradable bags for my counter top food scrape container. After having used their products for over a year I have never had one of their bags tear apart as I have on other brand bags. Highly recommend at least trying you will not be dissappointed

These work very well - they have a nice, soft texture and manage to be pretty strong without being too thick. I can't really speak to their ability to biodegrade, but as far as trash bags go they're great. I had purchased several types before that were just okay so I'm happy to find a biodegradable option that's actually good quality. Hopefully some day someone makes a biodegradable bag with a drawstring option.
