I like this set compared to the cereal bowls you get with those corelle dinner set these are a little thicker and heavier. My 6 year old loves eating pasta out of it for some weird reason.
As a soup or fruit bowl very convenient . I hand wash the spoons and machine wash the bowls haven't had any trouble. Since it gets used often for breakfast /lunch/snack having it on the counter is very easy to pick up and use often. My kids don't have to pester me for bowls if they want to sneak snack out of the pantry

Depending on what you consider a serving in comparison to a portion they may be kinda small for you. On the other hand I found them just right for my needs. Heavy baked on glossy finish with vibrant colors with a unique holder. Perfect small gift for a friend. Many people are giving bad reviews due to bowl size ( some people need to go on a diet), their wine glasses aren't supposed to hold 3/4's of the bottle. Too many people shop by pictures and get all upset when the item (s) are received and "aren't" what they perceived (because they didn't take time to read the description). These are very nice bowls, and just to be clear, are made to help those who can't distinguish a portion from the entire pot of spaghetti!

Decent set, looks cute on the counter/shelf. The bowls feel pretty durable, but the spoons feel a little more fragile. Especially around the hole for hanging the spoons. The holes are not smoothed and rounded, so I fear they may chip easily, getting them on and off the hooks. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Excellent bowls and spoons! The bowls stack conveniently without the wire holder (which was deformed in shipping and luckily did not affect the bowls) and go in the microwave and dishwasher, too.
Updating review after 8 months. May be okay in microwave for "reheating" BUT used to bake a potato and inside and outside surface crackled and smelled! That bowl had to be trashed -- too bad.

I purchased these for discreet portion control--no markings; just filling the bowls to the indentation is one cup, perfect for cereal, soup, so many things. (And each spoon holds 2 teaspoons, also helpful.) After a year of daily use, they still look like new. (I even took them on a road trip and used them in place of some questionable dishes at a home-stay, and to portion-control the oatmeal at breakfast buffets.)
