I purchased this speaker as a monitor for my electronic drumset. After reading the great reviews and the low price I went with this rather than a monitor that costs almost about 100 dollars more. My mistake. This montitor can not handle the wide range of frequencies and tones produced by an electronic drumset! Lows and highs are both distorted at moderate volume. Spend a bit more and get a quality monitor that can also function as an amp for gigs in small clubs.
