Works well. It should be noted that to use the photo cell trigger you must set your camera to manual and your flash to manual.

This is a great value for what you get. Decent power, cycle time is quick, two level modeling light. Can be triggered with a remote or using the built in light sensor. Accessories seem to fit okay - it can take either Bowen mount accessories or you can use a brolly in the built in holder. Included power and trigger cords are nice and long. The "cons" are minimal, and considering the price, about what you'd expect: Plastic light stand mount, plastic shell, plastic bowen mount, intensity adjustment is on the unit, not remote, and in discrete steps, but really, for an amateur photographer wanting to set up a 3 light setup for portraits or figure photography, this is a great value. Heck, it's about the same price as one of the cheap Chinese speedlights and a fraction of the cost of a good speedlight.

This economy strobe worked right out of the box. For the price it seems to be an excellent value and well built (if you factor the price into consideration). The Bowens mount works great. I'm a little concerned about the mount, as the plastic teeth will very likely wear quickly. It seems to be the weakest part of the construction.
