Most magical club I ever owned. Does what it promises and even more!

Tried this club immediately the very next day I received it. Bunker play has always been the weakest part of my game as it has always been a 50/50 thing for me which sucks! That day, I got into at least 9 bunkers and guess what, 1 out for all of them! Seriously 100% success rate! However, it's kinda difficult to judge the distance probably due to the heavy head. Will take some time to get used to it. I've also used it for chipping around the green and getting out of thick roughs and it's so easy it almost feels like cheating! The ball flight is high which I like. Other than distance control issue which can be fixed, I have no negative feedback for this club. It will definitely stay in my bag for as long as I golf.
Couldn’t get the hang of it

I hit about 100 usually. Went back to my normal sand wedge after trying this unsuccessfully on a bucket of 100 balls and a few times on the course. Could be just me, but figured others would want to hear. Maybe I'll try again in the future; if I get it to work, I'll update my review.
Really works!

Like many of the reviews, I was skeptical. I'm an 8 handicap, but have had problems with short chips around the green and sand. This club works great in sand and 50 yards in. The ball stops on a dime so practice with it, but it has definitely taken 3-4 strokes off my score. It does tend to send the ball to the right so I've learned to allow for that.
Slap shot for success...!!!..Be patient, takes a few rounds of practice. IT WORKS

I has been playing golf for about 15 years now and a 15-16 handicap. The last 3 months, I couldn't get out of the sand and my sand wedge shots has gone to you-know-what. I have been resisting getting the so call game-improving club because of pride and stubbornness, but I was desperate so I bought it just to see. The first round with it was no help then after googling for some help, I realize I was using the club the wrong way. You don't swing it the same way as the conventional sand wedge. With my old sand wedge, you hand and the shaft lean forward, the ball a little forward of your stand for in the sand trap (back of your stand for chipping) and you open the club face then swing thru it. I would tend to dig an/or manipulate the club face as it rotates to the swing (recipe for disasters and disasters happen often).
With this tour edge, your body is square to the target like regular iron shot, the ball in the middle of your stand for all shots and lies, the club face square (or a little closed) to the target with you hands and arms in neutral position. The best way I can describe the swing motion is I swing it like a hockey slap shot (not as hard of course). After 2-3 days practice, I went out today (the 2nd round with it) and it works like a charm, get me out of the sands 3 times, chip/pitch to with 2-3 feet 3 times, easily save me 5 strokes. Beside the stroke, the confident it promotes help out my other part of the game. Shot an 89, my best round in over 4 months. Still figuring the distance control with the club, but that is just playing more with the club. I think the heavy club head minimize my tendency to try to manipulate the club face and swing so I now I focus more at static setup and make correction on how to address the ball and club correctly. This club is staying in my bag...Glad I didn't quit on it too soon.
Thumbs On The Dots
Carlos Muebles✓ Verified PurchaseDecember 6, 2016
Since this club is counterbalanced, you must use a specific grip. You'll notice two white dots on the grip near the shaft. Choke up on the grip so each thumb is on one of the dots. The club will then perform as advertised.
