Nice tuner
medicbiker✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 14, 2017
This tuner works well, get my low B on my 5 string bass quickly and easily. It even comes with self adhesive Velcro to stick it to your board, very nice! My only gripes are the switching on/off has a slight delay (not really a gripe I suppose, it is silent too!) but mine came with a blemished finish- there was a scratch in the finish that has been covered up with some paint or a black marker that doesn't match. I'm in a metal band and don't really care too much, but this is kinda ridiculous to send out a product like that.

EDIT: the company read my review and sent me a replacement item that was defect free! Very good customer service!! Thanks!
Great little tuner

Great little tuner. Seems accurate so far and the bypass works as it should. No power supply included and no room for a battery though, so watch out for that.

EDIT: After about a month of everyday use I've moved on to a TU-3. This tuner works but it is so slow to pick up not changes that it requires you to constantly pluck the string. I've had many tuners in the 30 some odd years I've been playing and this is by far the slowest tuner I've ever used.

3 stars because it technically works, but I would have a hard time recommending this tuner, in the end you get what you pay for.
Not perfect, but a very good value

I'm using this with acoustic guitars with active pickups, on a secondary pedal rig that I use for acoustic-only work. I bought it as a potential replacement for a Boss TU-3, which takes up too much space on this particular board. I realize that the Boss is triple the price, but other reviews have compared this to the TU-3 so I will, too. I like the tuner, and it's an amazing value for the price, but I do have a few quibbles with it.

PRO: Solidly built. True bypass. Switch is relatively quiet. Jacks seem to be good quality. I have not experienced any issues with noise or connection problems that were mentioned in a few other reviews.

CON: (1) It doesn't seem as fast to lock onto the pitch as the Boss; I feel like it takes me a few seconds longer to tune. (2) The center "in tune" LED has IMHO too much deadband tolerance. I can turn a tuning peg enough to produce a small but audible change in pitch, and all the while the display will show it as in tune. (3) The display doesn't seem bright enough for outdoor use. (4) It has trouble finding the pitch of the low B string on my baritone acoustic.

VERDICT: I'll keep it, and will continue using it on my acoustic rig for a while. It's still half the size and 1/3 the weight of the Boss, and I haven't found a better tuner in this form factor, even at higher price points. I'll probably go back to the Boss for outdoors and for gigs where I have to tune very quickly between songs.
Serious issues for a pedal
Fares✓ Verified PurchaseFebruary 6, 2017
It worked while it did. Barely a month after buying it, I started to notice a bit of signal leaking through my pedal, then I started to get a really bad buzz when playing the low E string on my guitar. Removed the pedal from the chain and all the problems went away. It works as a tuner but it's a terrible pedal. I only ever used it in my room, never pressed on it with my shoes, and it always sat on a sturdy pedal board.

Even for the price I expected more out of this. Honestly not worth it. Will buy a Polytune or a Korg Pitch Black soon.

UPDATE: Was able to get a replacement from KLIQ. Very generous of them. This one seems okay. Definitely fixed the buzzing issue.
Surprisingly pretty

I was originally debating between this tuner pedal and some others like the Korg Pitchblack Mini that are more than twice the price, but I'm glad I went with the TinyTune instead.

Despite the funky name, this is probably the best tuner I've used. I have an 8 string guitar that covers the range of both a standard guitar and a bass guitar, and I have had zero issues with the TinyTune tracking any of my strings during tuning. My other tuners seems to jump around a bunch making it take much longer to tune, which is not something you want to deal with before a show.

The industrial design of this pedal is actually really quite pretty. The case is satin black anodized aluminum with a machined top edge chamfer that visually ties the case in with the chromed steel hardware. I normally prefer all-black or unfinished aluminum but I see what they were going for and I think it looks really great. I feel like the product photos here on Amazon don't do it justice.

The LCD screen is gorgeous and very easy to read. It is superior to the TC Electronic PolyTune Mini and Korg Pitchblack Mini solely for the fact that KLIQ made the flatness indicators red and the sharpness indicators yellow. Color helps the user differentiate at a quick glance and that's brilliant. Also, I haven't seen this type of inverted LCD screen used very often, and my background is actually in industrial design. It almost looks like a high resolution OLED screen due to the contrast of the dark black background and the color segments. It's very pretty.

As for the footprint, I peeled off the included rubber foot on the bottom and added some 3M Dual Lock to mount it to my board, and I was really happy that is was so small that I was able to fit it into an awkward open space on my pedal board.

There isn't a single thing I don't like about this tuner pedal. Even the box it came in was nice, a matte black case with a magnetic closure. Nice job KLIQ.
