Big disappointment
RonelleMarch 26, 2018
Thought I would like it as much as everyone else, and at first I did until people walked on it
I bought this for the laminate floors at my store, they were dull and always looked dirty. I stayed late one night and spent 4 hours mopping, rinsing and drying floors. I did them in sections and then went back and applied this product to the sections in the same order. The application was easy enough, I also purchased a new microfiber dust mop and used that to apply, I had 1300-1500 sq feet to do and used 1/2 the jug. Everything looked fine, came back 12 hours later to clean floors with a nice sheen
Here's where it all went bad, every shoe that walks it and every chair that gets pulled out leaves a big streaky mark, like an opaque scuff mark. Since we had a big event a few days later I mopped the floor again and tried to mop off the marks everywhere which made a big mess. The best way to explain is that look you get when someone spills something and just wipes it up w/o mopping.
So now I have to find the time and product to remove it and start over, so No I would not buy this again

I used this stuff on the wood floors of my old place, and now on saltillo (sealed) tile at our current house and this stuff is worth the price. It's a little expensive, but a good coat every other month or so will give the floors a great shine. It goes on easy and seals hard - I know because I spilled some on my cheap countertop and it sealed into a plastic like texture. Dries clear. I've found I only have to let each coat dry about 15 minutes, but we have very dry air. Two coats and the floors just shine. Definitely worth the expense.
Worth the cost.

I asked my neighbor who had refinished her floors. No one had. She used Proshot! I bought some dispite the price. This product is worth the money.
Here is a video of our 13 y/o hardwood floors without Proshot and with. The difference is subtle in the video :-/ but dramatic over the entire expanse of hardwood floors.
FYI: allow 4+ hours after application for it the dry completely for best results.

Prior to the expense of wood floor restoration via sanding, I tried this product. While not perfect, it is a wonderful stop gap between the inevitable refinish. So far, I've been using for 3 years. That is as close to permanent use as you can come. I can see using for another couple of years, but dings from high heels left from prior owners won't be repaired by this. Scuff marks do occur and require attention, but I found that in general, I can go 6 - 8 months before a retreatment.
Very happy with the results

I am very happy with the results of this stuff. It made our linoleum floor look new again. It gives it a slightly wet look, which is what I was going for. One of the bad reviews stated that they walked on it and it left tracks. They must have walked on it before the drying time was up, (says about 45 minutes on the bottle), but in some spots it took longer for me. I know this because I set the jug down on my counter top while applying this, and it left a ring that I had to scrape off. It had the consistency of dried on plastic. Fortunately, it was a smooth surface and I was able to scrape it off. But I would be careful where you set the jug down, or put something under it while applying this stuff. I'm sure over time moving chairs and tables etc will leave marks, but so far after having a large party at our house, and a few days of walking on it, we couldn't be happier.
