I love this product......I had lost the original one I had for my VHS tapes and I was just sick about it.....How was I ever going to watch all the tapes I took of my 2 granddaughters......Well since receiving this cassette adapter.....I have enjoyed watching and reminiscing over most of them.....,only 16 more to watch ....When I am thru watching them I will have them put on CD's for my granddaughters to enjoy....Thanks Amazon for having this item !! I love it ! <3

I could kick myself. I did have one of these and the last time I put it away (10yrs +ago) I left the battery in and it corroded. Grrrrrr! So I bought this one and it works like it should. I remembered to take out the battery when I was finished converting all my VHS to digital.
the sound and picture are synced just fine.

I'm not sure why, but there is a problem with the sound not being synced with the picture when I use this adapter. Never had that problem with the old adapter that came with my camera years ago. Also, when I play the small cassette using the video camera itself, the sound and picture are synced just fine.
a good way to get your old camcorder tapes onto another source

works just fine, no problems at all. we have several types of old tapes needing to be transferred to other media before it is too late. a couple of those were the smaller 'C' tapes the type we used to put in camcorders. the old tape player won't play those without this. simply put this product does what it says it will and with no problems to date.
