I love this thing. The thermostat controls the temp by shutting off automatically and the dial is easy to use to set the temp where you want it. Auto start...just plug it in and turn it on. It works like a charm.
The thermostat feature is what I like the most and it's basically a feel and turn on and go type situation

It works really well it didn't let off much smoke even in the beginning although I did set it outside for the first run but I didn't notice a lot of smoke I might have just been lucky but it does heat up well and quickly 15 to 20 minutes you will have to have a ventilated area at least keep the door cracked or have a window cracked and that will do at least 62 in to a foot high if it's a window and you most definitely want to at least have four feet 5 feet is more comfortable away from being in front of anything cuz anything in front of it will get heated up well

Bought this for my husbands shop and he loves it. We are here in Houston and have not had a harsh winter like this past few weeks. This heater was perfect. Did have slight smell but it's expected. Main concern is if it heated area.it did. Very happy.

I bought this thing, which isn't cheaper than other brands and plugged it in and started using it in my wood shop. The first day was great. The second day I went to work and turned it on. It ran approximately 2 minutes and shut off. It will not run longer than two minutes. I've followed all directions and no luck. Assuming I got a lemon and that's the issue. I've contacted the company for help but this being a weekend, they won't be in until Monday so I guess I'll freeze until then. I would not buy again.

We have owned this for almost two years, and like most people, only ever need it in the winter. When we first got it, it worked great for the first 2 or 3 times. . then it started giving errors, constantly going out, not lighting. It was already way to late for us to exchange or return it. This thing is JUNK. We have cleaned it all out, done everything we are supposed to do, and it would either light then go out and blow smoke, or it won't light at all. It's beyond frustrating that we paid this much money for this thing, and it doesn't work, and we have no way to return it because it's been so long. It worked great for the 2 - 3 times it worked. . but ever since then, it's been a nightmare and will not stay lit and now no longer lights at all. What a waste of money.
