My 60lb doberman is always shivering in Texas winters (she's a wimp) so I ordered the xxl in this for her. It fit her a little large, but after reading the other reviews I am not sure the next size smaller would have been bigger. She wore it all the time for a few days and then she started getting hot spots and sores on her legs where the sleeves kept rubbing. I started only putting it on her when she was cold, and being careful of her legs. She has long, skinny legs, so the openings were none too small, but just where they hit rubbed her raw.
It began to fall apart with the on and off that we were doing. It totally fell apart when she was playing with another dog and the dog got a little rowdy. Nothing alarming, but the dog put her paw up to play and totally tore the sweater, rendering it unwearable. We got a good three weeks out of it, which is really all we need to survive the Texas winter, but was disappointed with the overall quality. Will not be purchasing a new one next season for her.

Seriously the best dog sweater I have ever purchased. Now, I did read a lot of reviews to make sure the size was right, and I did have to order a large for 18lb Boston Terrier, but the sweater is great! It fits perfectly! It's a great quality and even has a thermal liner material to keep our pup warm! I may just buy a few more... Thank you!

A really great hoodie! The hood is a super cute detail. The medium fit my 14lb schnauzer mix like a glove. The color is true to what's advertised, and there's a really nice smooth lining inside of the hoodie that makes it warmer and more comfortable for her. The lining made it less likely to tangle her thick fur too! She actually liked having it on in the cold. Great value!

It's a cute cable sweater with lining inside. The body fit is perfect. I only wish the hood was a little wider and that the opening for the leash were bigger. I can't hook any of his leashes through the small opening. My little guy is 9lbs, 16 inches around the chest and about 11in long. I ordered the medium based on the other reviews and the size chart as it does run small.

This is a nice sweater. The color and knit are accurate, it isn't lined (nice and warm), and seems to be pretty well constructed. My only concern is with the sizing. Please pay attention to the weight guidelines. We have a chubby Boston Terrier that weighs around 27 pounds. Normally, when he gets things from Petsmart for example, he is a medium. I would never have thought to get him an extra large if I hadn't read the reviews and really looked at the sizing. Even then, I was worried it would be too big, but no. It is a perfect fit.
