Poor Quality

Had difficulties with the vendor who would not authorize a return, and now a luthier tells me that the guitar has to go back to the manufacturer for an unfixable defect. eventually, I'll get a replacement, but the hassle has left a bad taste in my mouth for e-commerce with regard to musical instruments.
I'll never deal with 8th street music again.

Great sound for the money. Very happy with this purchase. If you're into bottleneck playing, this guitar will give you great pleasure. It arrived in a well packed styrofoam molded she'll that really protects the guitar. With a little tuning it's ready to play right out of the box.
Great slide guitar for the price

Great slide guitar for the price, no question. Did a lot of tire kicking before I found this at a used music shop, loved it, went back with cash in hand and it was sold! So I took risk of getting on-line as none of the local shops had this model.
Strings are high enough for clean slide work but low enough for regular finger playing on frets, Intonation can be slightly off due to strings being pushed down on higher fretted fixed bridge guitar (which is most of course), but this is a minor and expected attribute. It was playable out of the box, surprisingly already tuned up in standard EADGBE tuning. But the magic happens in open tuning with the sympathetic notes as you play slide or even just finger pick....truly remarkable sounds that I hear on my old blues recordings of Bukka White and Blind Willy Johnson. I did break my top E string a few times, but I was playing the heck out of it and do a variety of alternate tunings -- Open G, Open E, Open D, CGCGCE, DADGAD, etc.
The best part is the V-Style neck, get good wrap around if you are a thumb player, very comfy for regular players too. The sound is nicely clangy and bright and metallic as you can guess (due to body and resonator), not a "woodsy" sound -- but you wouldn't be playing this guitar for that tone. I'm very happy with my purchase, so glad I have something that has that old blues tone I have been seeking for so long!
