When I bought my first jar of the Detox and Slim down, it smelled sort of strong to me, but I quickly came to crave the scent and especially how it relieved pain in different parts of my body, especially my legs. I often have leg cramps when I walk more than usual. Also my sciatic nerve, lower back and hands alternate giving me grief. So I drink a big glass of water while I'm filling the tub with hot water. I also dry brush my legs from the toes up (and any other achy part of my body), while waiting. I get the bath water as hot as I can stand it, mix 1/4 cup of the salts, into the water, and get in. I soak for 20 minutes, then rinse off with cool water in the shower. I can feel my legs *humming* with greatly increased circulation. The combination of my body being ridded of toxins, while absorbing awesome minerals, such as magnesium; and of the pain being relieved in my legs and body, and of breathing in that Awesome scent of calming essential oils makes me feel amazing !.. and calm, relieved and positive. I even *sleep* better ( it even helps rid me of negative thoughts and worries, to some extent ). I had bought another, less expensive brand 3 months ago and only used it twice. Bleh!
Forget it! The the Detox and Slindown was out of stock after Christmas. PANIC!! I would not buy the other Asutra salts as the *Detox & Slimdown* was the only one I wanted. So I did without. FINALLY! It was back in stock!.. and I bit the bullet and bought 2 jars.
Just keep in mind, if you buy two jars, you get a 5% discount, but I only got the discount on *one* of the two jars I bought. So don't be too disappointed if that happens to you. I'm not going to take a star off for it though, because of the huge amount of relief of pain and stress and increased circulation this Detox and Slim Down gives me! And the company is very helpful and cares about how the product benefits those who buy it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone!!

An awesome bath salt, I use it once a week and I continue to see results in the way of tightening in my skins texture, an overall body detox is felt in balancing my skins oil content. I've found that the once a week dry brush, bath salts,exercise and hydration has been an excellent de-stress factor in my professional and personal life. This regimen is now part of my lifestyle. If you're looking for natural bath salts the detox & slim down soak should not be missed. The scoop inside of the jar was a lovely hygienic plus. Thanks Barbara for the tips, I've followed them and appreciate your passion for developing such a great product. I will certainly look into purchasing other ASUTRA products.

Now, this stuff is amazing! I've been looking for a good salt soak for the bath and I've used just regular epsom and it worked fine. I decided I wanted to treat myself and get something a little more fancy... best decision ever.
The smell when you first opened the container was nice and earthy in a good way. I left the container open in the bathroom while the warm water was running and within 2-3 minutes, I could smell the calming scent from my kitchen! It was sooooo good. My dog actually fell asleep next to the cracked door.
It comes with a nice scoop which was useful to use in order not to touch the salts with your hand. It only takes about 1/4 of a cup of the salts according to the instructions and it looks like it will last about 10 baths or so, so a pretty good deal. When I stepped into the bath, I thought 'oh, it's just like my normal bath, just smells better'. Boy, was I wrong! After about 10 minutes, my face was sweating as I was releasing toxins... my face NEVER sweats. I stayed in the bath for about an hour with some magazines, a big glass of water, and my phone.
When I got out, my skin felt smooth (after rising off and washing my hair) and I felt relaxed. This stuff made me feel better. I can't explain it, but it just worked as a detox bath. Totally buying this again once this container runs out... which I expect will happen fast since I plan on using it a lot.
