I absolutely love these silicone trivets so much that I ordered 3 pairs of them! They're heat resistant and I don't feel any warmth when I'm pulling hot pans and casseroles out of the oven. They are super easy to clean too! I just put mine in the dishwasher! They're perfect trivets and, like the pictures show, I use them for a spoon rest almost every time I cook. I will always recommend these to my friends and family.

Worth it! I've had these for months now, I use them almost every time I cook! They can be used to open jar lids. They are a nice bright color. Seem good quality and durable. Also a plus is they are so easy to clean compared to some wicker type ones I've had in the past. Just run under water with a dab of soap and all that spaghetti sauce you accidentally dropped on it comes right off. Happy to find something that seems it would be a smart addition in the kitchen and it actually is and isn't just another gimmic. Very happy with my purchase. Want to buy more colors!

What can I add to so many 5-star reviews? For what it's worth, here's my two cents:

1. Perfect thickness and very pliable. I had seen a few reviews complain these were two thin or two thick. These actually measure a teeny bit thicker than most of the other silicone pads I looked at. While I'm not sure the others would be noticeably too thin, these were perfect: thick enough not to feel the heat of my pans, thin enough to be flexible and easy to grip.

2. I got rid of all those nasty cloth hot pads--the ones I have thrown in my washer so many times, but somehow never seem to come clean. I will never have that problem again! Because these are "floppy," I do have to hold them so the edge of the pad can't flop into my casserole. But that's not a design flaw; no big deal and they wash off easily anyway.

3. I found the multi-purpose aspect very attractive. As I am trying to dejunk, this meant throwing away several sets of hot pads AS WELL AS that spoon rest/holder. Unlike the other silicone pads I viewed, this set has a rim around the pad to trap liquid from running all over your counter. And you know how that spoon rest didn't fit comfortably in the drawer, and so had to be left out on the stove top for "decoration?" Well, these fit anywhere I want them to.

4. I did try them as a bottle opener and wasn't all that impressed. I couldn't get a very tight bottle of nail polish open. Using these, I did *finally* get it open, whereas I couldn't on my own, but but it was so difficult even with these pads, I wasn't sure whether these actually helped or whether any kind of twisting and turning on the handle for 10 minutes finally did the trick. For something else, these pads might make more of a noticeable difference. They are grippy; maybe nail polish is just hard to because it's so small. And I didn't buy them for opening jars, so I'm not overly concerned either way.

5. Loved the color options. (I got the teal.) It wasn't a deal-breaker since they will sit in a drawer, but t's a plus. Many of the other sets gave you a random assortment of colors or had very limited options.

6. There is a small hole on one side of each pad if you want to hang these by the stove.

7. I paid $11.90 for a set of two. At that price, I would definitely order again.

UPDATE: Still love these. Am hoping to purchase a second pair at some point. However, beware the hole. The only time or two I've been burned using these was when I was holding them in such a way that my finger was positioned over the hole, and thus directly on the hot surface. Now I am careful to conscientiously hold the hot pad in such a way that I am not going to touch the pan through the hole.

I am very happy with these potholders/hot pads. I have found them useful as potholders when I am cooking both in the oven and on the stovetop. They are also quite handy as hot pads when I need a place to set something down on my counters. They are a good thickness, and they protect the surface they sit on from the heat. They are also handy when a lid is stuck on a jar as they allow you to grip the jar well. I am very pleased with these hotpads. The service I received was quick, with everything in perfect order when received. I would recommend both this product and this seller.

Update 2/2022:. I found some other spoon rests that work so I don't use these any more and I found so trivets that fold up and store in a very small space so these are just used when those are already being used. But they are good and should last for a very long time. They a heat resistant to at t least 450â°F so anything coming out of the oven won't damage it

Great product. Should last a lifetime.
I actually purchased these so I could cut one up to use for a spoon rest since I couldn't find a silicone spoon rest in blue that I was willing to pay the price for. I saw grays and greens, and one sellers who had a set of two spoon rests but wanted $25.00 which I wasn't willing to pay.

Update: I didn't cut it up and it's a perfect size so no mess on the counter.
