This chandelier was the perfect replacement for a crystal chandelier in a room where I now have Victorian furniture and red drapes. The coppery colors coordinate beautifully with my color scheme, the curled wrought iron mirrors the wrought iron on my windows, and the soft amber light that glows through the frosted glass bells is very pleasing.

Like others have pointed out, this chandelier comes nicely packed in plastic bags and styrofoam but the instructions are crap. Took me 3.5 hours to assemble and hang. With better instructions, it would have taken me probably 2.5 hours. Hint: Much easier to assemble if you have a helper. And the helper doesn't have to be an electrician - it can be your 10 year old son. You just need someone to hold parts together while getting screws and nuts and washers applied and to hold the arms in place to get everything lined up before final screw down. I found it easier assembling this light from the bottom to the top, not top to bottom.

This is a gorgeous chandelier! It looks just as beautiful in person as it does in the picture on Amazon.com. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the instructions were one page that was basically a picture. It was not clear how the electrical should be connected, or the order it should be put together. We finally managed, but better instructions would have been greatly appreciated. But the chandelier itself is top notch. I would recommend.

The chandelier looks beautiful installed. However, when unpacked, I found a piece with a chip in it. Fortunately, I found the chipped piece and was able to glue it on so that it is not detected. Also, one of the light fuses was defective. The electrician who installed the chandelier was able to replace it. It cannot be seen but I was told to be careful when unscrewing the bulb in that socket as the fuse is not the same as the others and would be looser. Luckily both defects were fixed as it would have been awful if the light could not be installed properly once the electrician was here. I would like to receive the proper fuse so if there is an issue in the future, it can be installed. Can that be done?
