I bought two of these registers one after another. 1st one gave up within a week and the second one lasted a month. We own a store and use this register frequently. It is certainly not a "heavy duty" register. The "push open" stopped working in a month. We were using the keys to work it since then. and now the key stopped working too. Absolutely not the product we were looking for. Now I have hundreds of dollars locked in this register and no way to open it- No messages returned from the seller. Use discretion. Don't settle for this cheap toy register- invest a lil more if you run a serious business. I guess you get what you pay for. Disappointing!

Nice and heavy duty---doesn't move around if you press firmly to open. Solid quality on the outside and the money tray itself. The only reason it's not five stars is because the credit card slips often get jammed between the liner tray and the drawer itself since the plastic slot is just as small as the slot in the stainless steel face. The manufacturer could remedy this by making the plastic liner's slot much larger so there is no chance for it to slip between the tray. I "fixed" this by placing two layers of cardboard box underneath to kick the tray up a little so that the inside slot is more in line with the outside slot (still a few paper jams but not as much). Other than that: nice quality, nice protective packaging, happy with the purchase.

Drawer broke and will not stay closed after using it for about 8 weeks. It has a 30 day send back so I am just out the money which I do not think is fair I believe an exchange should be allowed. If this had been purchased in my town it would have been exchangeable, but this is the issue with Amazon.

A little heavier than I thought it would be, but I really enjoy using it. I can now make change at the farmers market quickly and efficiently with out bumbling around with a wad of cash in my pocket. The ouch mechanism is crisp and enjoyable to use. I really love this cash box. Plus I can lock it when I have to run to the bathroom.

This cash box is fantastic! I purchased it because I do a lot of functions that I run the kitchens for and with the "normal" cash-box, I found that it took up a lot of room because you had to open the cover every time you had a sale. Not with this! You just push the drawer and it opens. Bills are kept nice and secure under the latches and change is easily accessible. Best part is, you can stack stuff on top of it! No more wasted space!
