After the wife an I got more into cooking, we though it was time to finally get some decent shakers for the kitchen. We were looking for shakers that have several sizes of openings and hold a good amount with a clear indication of when they were getting low BEFORE it was gone. These were some of the few shakers that met all those needs.

They are easy to use and stay nice and clean. The glass on the bottom is a very nice appearance and makes it very easy to tell which is which and when they are getting low. Having the different color options was very nice in that we were able to select a color that matched the rest of the kitchen and we appreciated that the pictures were an actual reflection of the color of the received product (not always the case with other products!).

One extra thing I appreciated was that the shape allows me to grab the shaker when I might have meat juice on my hands and not paying attention, but I can then separate the color portion from the rest of the shaker for a quick rinse and the contents stay completely within the separate, untouched glass portion so I don't have to empty the shaker for a rinse. Not sure if they thought of that, but very handy!

Where have these been all my life?!!!! We are so pleased with these I'll be buying these for gifts for many friends and family. My husband & I were constantly at odds about S&P shakers because I would purchase the larger salt grains for various reasons and they just wouldn't work well. Pepper was always too much or not enough also- not with these. Great quality, easy to fill, easy to use with options and you can see when you are going to need to refill. I honestly can't say how they will hold up because we have only been using them a short time & hand washed the top (bottom is glass so dishwasher works). No, I was not paid for this review nor do I have any affiliation with the company.

I was super excited to find these following a pretty extensive search for new salt & pepper shakers. They're beautiful in real life. The red is a perfect candy apple red and adorable in my red & black kitchen. I love that the holes are adjustable. There was some rubbing on top of one of them that I'd mentioned in an earlier 5-star review and the WORLD CLASS customer service team swung into action and replaced it ~ fast!! I'm really happy to have these ~ and now they're perfect! Given my open floor plan, I can see these not just from throughout my kitchen but also from my the dining room, living room and another large, open space. I'm hopeful that these will hold up for many years. They certainly seem to be of a nice quality! These high quality shakers are coming from the kind of company (excellent!) that I love to support with my business.

About the product...

These salt/pepper shakers are nothing less than perfect. They hold a good amount of salt and pepper, but the best part is that the top twists to give you just the right amount of seasoning, either just a tad or a lot and anything in between. It also twists closed so nothing spills out if knocked over. The glass bottom shows you when it's time to refill the shakers, and they feel sturdy and of good quality. Love these shakers!!

Now, about their customer service...

I awoke one morning to pepper all over the kitchen floor thanks to my cat knocking the pepper shaker off the table during the night. I contacted the company (Gina) to see if they sold individual replacements, but they do not. However, since the glass part couldn't be replaced, Gina was sending me a full replacement at no cost to me! I fully expected to pay for this and make my cat pay me back in extra cuddles and purrs, but Gina is all about customer service and already had a tracking number ready for me!

Great product + phenomenal customer service = one very happy camper!!

Will definitely buy again and recommend!!!

The complimentary replacement of my broken pepper shaker arrived today as promised... thanks again Gina!! Great products and amazing customer service :D

Follow up (months later): I just wanted to update our previous review. We are still very happy with the salt and pepper shakers. They work great and look nice. What prompts me to add this is the GREAT FOLLOW-UP SERVICE we received from the Amazon vendor (MB Lifestyle). We dropped one of our shakers onto a cast iron grill and broke the glass part of the shaker. Totally our fault - any glass shaker would likely have broken under the circumstances (these are actually made of pretty thick glass). Anyway, I emailed the vendor to see if we could purchase a replacement glass container, and to my surprise, they offered to send us a replacement glass container, plus an additional complete shaker, at no cost to us. This was really well beyond what we expected - we would have been happy just to have been able to purchase a replacement for the part we broke (the rest of the shaker was still good as new). We received the free replacements quickly. The replacement glass was just like the original, and the extra shaker is handy and gives us a backup in case we break another one (which is very unlikely). Anyway, I just wanted to let potential purchasers know that that not only is this a good product, but the people at MB Lifestyle really care about their customers and provide outstanding service.

Original Review: They are nice and we like them. There aren't as many options on the size/number of holes as I expected, but the ones they have work fine. Our old shakers were always either too fast, or too slow - but these have settings that dispense both salt and pepper at just the right rate for table use. They also look nice and are a handy size (not too large or too small). I took them apart to wash everything before we used them (probably unnecessary, since they were well packaged and looked very clean). These do come apart into quite a few pieces and I was a little concerned that they might jam or be diffitult ot get back together, but that hasn't been a problem. We like them.
