Paint Scratches Off Easily

I bought this in white and the paint scratches off very easily. It doesn't come with assembly instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out. However, you do need a small pair of pliers or an 8 or 10 mm wrench (I can't remember which.), because it didn't come with any tools. Overall, it's decent plant stand.
