I bought this, along with a metal frame, to use for mosquito protection. It's keeping the mosquitoes from attacking me at night, so 5 stars for that.
My story of woe started when I brought some of my deck plants indoors while the deck was being worked on and did not realize that they harbored mosquitoes - a lot of them. It's a challenge to get rid of them once they set up house indoors, but I am seeing a definite reduction in their numbers since putting this netting up. No more bites keeping me up at night, so this netting was more then worth the price.
It's not as delicate as it looks because it has some stretch to it to help it withstand the pulling and tugging of everyday use.
I didn't buy it for decorating purposes, but it looks nice for that, too, especially if you have a four-poster bed frame to put it over or have ceilings/ceiling beams that are low enough to hang it from (hardware to dod that is included).
I'm super happy with this netting. It's working really well and I am no longer wakened by that horrible high buzz near my ears!!!

Love relaxing on the swing to read or nap without being bothered by flying pests! This net has helped make my swing under the pergola a true summer retreat. The overlapping panels for going in and out make it easy to slip in with a book or glass of wine (or both). No zippers. There is, however, nothing to keep the netting from blowing around in the wind A weighted bottom, however, would make it easier for the net to tear and more to difficult to store. No directions were included, but once I laid out the net with all the tabs on the same side, I was able to figure out how to hang it. I used clothes pins to gather extra the extra netting on the long sides. I was able to install it by myself, but it would have gone quicker with 2 people. It also would have gone quicker if I had made some measurements first. :) I gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure how it will hold up over time.
