Firmly fits Xbox 360 Slim-compatible SATA hard drives. I removed an old original Xbox drive from the casing, replacing it into this without issue. Doesn't require any tools to assemble: place green side up into deeper section of the shell while the drive opening faces the slot, then securely snap on the covering. Strong hold will snap on hard.

My hard drives were not recognized using this device. All I can say is that this case could be inserted, and it was a pain to open it back up to get my hard drive out of it. The four stars is based on the difficulty opening the case to get my drive out.

I pulled a couple of XBOX 360 HDD's out of some Arcade units after they fried. Needed the drives for the Slim and these do their job of holding the drives for the way the Slim is setup for drives.
