Transformed Our Useless Backyard Into The Patio Of My Dreams
NikkiJune 5, 2017
These tiles are awesome. Out of the 30 or so boxes we ordered, one box was 2 tiles short, and one box was damaged in shipping so the plastic on most of those 10 tiles was shot. Not bad at all. My husband is a licensed contractor and I'm a designer, and we're both really picky when it comes to materials. Despite what the negative reviews say, these teak tiles are very high quality on the whole. Our small outdoor space was essentially sloped dirt and pretty much useless. We built a new fence and leveled the ground out last summer, and took our time deciding what we'd do for the rest. We considered several water-responsible options: artificial turf, pavers, a combo of both, etc. Ultimately, we decided to lay these teak tiles on top of 12 x 12 concrete pavers, with a pea gravel edge, It looks spectacular. Our patio furniture is also teak, and I plan to maintain the tile with teak oil once or twice a year. If you do something similar with gravel, be warned that you will have to lay down an L track or something along the edge to keep the gravel from getting under the tiles. No big deal. All in all, a moderately easy and relatively quick project. It took us 3-4 weekends to complete by ourselves and is holding up great. Highly recommend.

Loved this product. Used it as outdoor flooring in our pool area. Solid, decorative and well worth the money. I will be buying more for my shower!
