If I could give this 0 stars I would. I am usually not one to write a negative review, but this is pretty ridiculous. I ordered this for my son for Christmas. After it charged, the wheels automatically went in reverse without pressing the controls. This was not going to work. So after returning it to Amazon (who did a very good job of getting me a replacement very quickly), I opened up the new one, charged it, and the same thing happened again! Very frustrating. I would seriously think twice (or more) about purchasing this item or any items from this company. It seems that many people have had this problem. I was hoping I wouldn't be one of them, but I was wrong.

What a disappointment, when Santa brought this and it worked for a few hours and then wouldn't charge. We decided to try another one because our son REALLY wanted a Batmobile, and Amazon sent it immediately, (as Santa instructed, haha) but one hint of not working 100% in the next 30 days and this one is going back, too. The only reason we agreed to try another one was because there are at least more good reviews than bad, but they're so inconsistent. And almost all r/c toys at this price point are. It's too bad.

Update - March 4, 2017 So far, so good. The replacement car has been working fine. We've run it in the house and outside on the driveway, too. My son loves it so much. Just hoping it lasts!

Absolute piece of junk. I bought this for my 7 year old son. The car ran nicely for the first 3 months. Then, as many other reviewers stated, when the car is turned on, it propels itself forward on its own. I contacted AirHogs and they sent me a replacement even though the 90 day warranty had expired by a few days, Had to "disable" the original (which consisted of cutting the front rubber wheels off), send them a pic of the disabled vehicle and a screenshot of the Amazon receipt. I waited almost a month for the replacement....and out of the box the replacement has the same issues as the original. I don't know what kind of quality control department AirHogs has, but it's obvious they don't test their stuff before putting it out there to purchase. You would think, being that the vehicle running forward by itself is a known and apparently common issue, they would test the replacement vehicle before mailing it me. No such luck. So I will contact them again and demand a full refund of the purchase price. Another replacement vehicle is NOT an option. I'm not waiting another month for a replacement, with my fingers crossed that it doesn't do the same thing and disappoint my son AGAIN. Doesn't take a genius to figure out the vehicle has problems but they sell them anyway. Shoddy business practice.

This little RC car is pretty darn cool. It handles really well for an airhogs. Traditionally the air hogs rides are a little clunky. This is not the case here. This car handles nicely has good speed and is fun to drive. The turrets in front turn with the wheel along with the led headlights. The headlights actually do a good job of lighting up a dark hallway or room. The taillights look awesome too. The detail on the paint and car is awesome. Good looking plastics and tires. One of my favorite items from this movie. I recommend this RC car.

The car worked great at first, but then the controller got stuck sending a forward signal. I called their customer service, but they were useless. They wanted proof of purchase as a picture of the receipt (reading the information over the phone wasn't good enough) along with pictures of a disabled car (cut the wheels!) before they would ship out a new one in two to three weeks. I just needed the controller or a work around for the problem, not a new car. Luckily, I bought it with Prime and could return it easily. I expect more for almost fifty dollars. Avoid Air Hogs!
