This is our son's favorite beach toy! We had one for about 2 years and the bottom piece broke off.... so we bought another. He plays with this several times a week at the beach.

My kid is a beach rat and she loves this thing. Throw it in the ocean and it always pops up and surfs. Best on small waves as the larger waves bounce it all over the place. Durable foam board but anything bigger than a two foot wave would make me nervous about it breaking. We did toss it in some four foot shore break and it held up well.
Putting it together is a bit of a pain. I was afraid to push too hard but my advice is to give it some good muscle.

My son loves these toys! Throw them far into the surf, and they catch a wave and make their way back. We picked up another one so we could have a "surf contest". We live in Florida near the East Coast, and every kid on the beach during our beach vacation that saw them and how they work asked where they could get some, too. One mom even Primed a set for her kids to arrive a few days later. Note: They will only surf back if there is an actual surf, go Gulf Coast kids may not get as much out of them as East coast or where there are true waves. So fun!

Very cool toys :-) always get many many increase when I'm on the beach as to where we got these. A bit difficult to put together, we had to bring one home and use a little mallet to pop together. genius toy, used by over 50 year old women :-)
