the nuts don't screw all the way down so I can't secure them to my headboard. Waste of money.

Not what is shown, not functioning, complete garbage. The wrench doesn't fit the nut properly so the wrench rounds the nuts corners ruining them. The bolts have an inch of smooth length and for thinner headboards won't tighten.
Double check length of headboard holes before you buy

Too short! Make sure you measure. And I am sure this is operator error (my fault) but it looks like it was a standard size but it wasn't. Always good to double check!
