Connectors were twisted and didn't line up, never worked.

Product came with twisted connectors. I flattened them out with pliers to see if I could make them connect, it looked successful. Hooked it up to my train track but didn't light up when the train went through.. Moved it closer to my power source, still did not light up, changed the speed in which my train traveled. Unable to get it to work I ordered another one. Hoping the next one works.
