I chose to write a review after planting them and seeing the results:

These rhizomes came in great condition and ready to plant. I put them in the ground (in relatively poor soil too!) and I did absolutely nothing to them except for putting mulch around the stalks when they got about 1.5 ft tall.

It's only been about 5 months, and yesterday, I checked under the soil, and harvested so many! (You check when the stalk starts to turn brown and die.) I have saved some of the smaller chokes for putting back into the ground to keep the cycle going. I'm so happy with my purchase and can't wait to eat them.

Arrived in great condition. All the tubers were alive and had already stated to sprout with 1\2 inch roots . I had to temporarily put them in a pot with my garden mix till I could finish filling its new raised bed. Less than a week later when planting them in their new home i found that all the tubers had started to grow stalks, I am quite impressed and happy with this purchase.

These are already to harvest, so excited. Great investment for a food forest.

Received quickly. Some of the tubers were a bit squishy, so I went ahead and planted to see results. Cut one in half just to see if I could get two to grow. Plants are growing rapidly and I look forward to having these all over my property as windbreak plants and winter chicken feed...maybe even people feed!

Delivered quickly and smelled fresh when I received them. Planted them as soon as they arrived and they are now growing beautifully--I hope to be able to harvest some next year once they have spread some.
