You can use this as a sub "meat" replacement for chicken, pork, or even tuna. It will take on the flavor of whatever sauce or soup. It has texture, so you feel like you've eaten a meal! I gave five stars for flavor, but it is really for lack of flavor. Jackfruit doesn't really have a flavor on its own. But because of that--it gets 5 stars. It sells a bit expensive on Amazon, but I live in a location that does not have it available. Be aware, though, that I have never received this product from Amazon without having all my cans dented. I have used these for tacos, BBQ, Reuben sandwiches, and nachos. Everything has turned out delicious. Though dented, I keep buying them.

Usually I can only find pickled and brined canned jackfruit at my local asian grocer, but this lime juice version is way more subtle that I didn't even have to rinse it.
I guess it also helps that im mainly using it for mexican recipes :P
