This Toter is very large, very sturdy, very easy to wheel.
We have smaller Rubbermaid trash cans. They don't wheel very well. They tip. The lids can be difficult to close and lock, especially in winter weather. Our trash collectors take the lids off and throw them on the ground. They can't do that with the Toter. The lid doesn't leak, it can't fall off, it can't blow away. We've had it for a few weeks, and I have no complaints at all. It's the best trash can we've ever had.

This can is really good. However, I had to return it because it was too big and the garbage men wouldn't pick it up. This type of garbage pail is really for commercial use. Our sanitation department said no way would they collect garbage out of this extra large pail. It was a 96 gallon garbage pail. I really liked it though. I also had a shed built for just two 96 garbage pails and my contractor did not build to fit this. So that's another reason we had to send it back. We reordered and purchased a 50 gallon garbage can which meets the standards of the town we live in. The sanitation department will pick up our garbage now.

My old, cheap trash can was destroyed by the garbage truck, so I looked for sturdy trash cans everywhere. This is not only good looking (I bought the black one), but it is as sturdy as it looks. Best of all this can, that fits in the pickup arms of the garbage truck, costs only about $64, when the price for this type of can cost as much as $400 or more. So my research was well worth it, and I am very happy with this trash can,s sturdiness, fit with the trucks, and the cost.
