A great addition to and record collector

A great addition to a record collector...this thing works great...I add a couple of drops to one edge of the brush them pivot it to the other edge and the record is cleaned and polished.....make sure you do this while the record is on the turntable..it just makes it easier. Well worth the money!!..the shipping was fast also..
Just get some microfiber cloths instead

This thing is crap. Especially for the price. The plastic back pops off very easily and the felt covering part (whatever it's made out of) is lousy. Just buy some vinyl cleaner and some microfiber cloths. I bought Magic Fiber cloths and some cleaner from a local record shop and they're working just fine.

Excellent vinyl cleaing brush! Picks up dust and holds on to it, unlike those carbon fiber brushes which just push the dust along the record surface. I use the small sylus brush included to brush off the velvet brush itself.

Seems to do a good job. For heavy dirt, you'll probably need to use a microfiber cloth and some sort of surfactant. But for everyday cleaning, this works well.
I can listen to my favorite records again!

My record collection was pretty dusty, until I bought this velvet brush. Now my favorite Simon and Garfunkel records are clean and like new. The velvet brush is great at picking up dust and animal hairs. You have to have a microfiber or some other type of cloth nearby to wipe the excess dust off of the brush, but after that, the brush is clean and ready to go. I haven't used the smaller needle brush yet, but I can say that it's spot on the handle of the velvet brush is not ideal--the lid that keeps it in place is constantly falling off, but it's not that big of a deal; I just take the brush and lid and put them off to the side while I'm using the velvet brush.
Overall, five stars!
