Living in FL, I had a really hard time deciding between carriers. We spend a lot of time outside. I'm new to carriers but my littlest does not like to be put down and it was a huge struggle. I knew I wanted a six position to allow more use and it didn't require an insert. It took me a good two weeks debating what one to try. I really wanted the airflow because of the weather we experience here and for our walks on the beach but I wasn't in love with the color options and the way the black straps seemed to stand out so much. Having two other children plus the newborn, I finally decided and ordered the luxe in pewter. It came quickly!!! We are ALL in love!! My littlest snuggles up while I have it clipped on the bottom and I'm able to get her securely buckled all by myself! I did need my husband to help adjust the straps the first use as it was a bit stiff. After that though, I'm now able to enjoy pushing my middle daughter on her trike/bike while my oldest bikes. When visiting the park, I have free hands to give them a push. Oh ..and I am able to fold laundry and get it all put away as long as I have someone (hubby) lift the baskets to the couch and I'm not bending down. Such a relief to be able to get some "chores" done while still snuggling my baby. I am addicted!!! Though I think it may get hot after awhile, we truly enjoy the soft fabric and classic look of the luxe. It's a gorgeous carrier and I can't wait for baby to grow with it. You won't be disappointed with Lillebaby six position!!!

Originally I purchased the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air baby carrier and I ended up not really liking it and returning it for this carrier instead. I picked the Ergobaby without any research since everyone said that the Ergobaby was the best and I wanted the face out option. This carrier is so much better! I can carry my 13 lb 8 week old baby without having him be smashed in the carrier! It's much more comfortable for him and for me.

Reasons why I like the Lillebaby Embossed Carrier more than the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air Carrier:

1. The Lillebaby does not require an infant insert. My very tall/large 8 week old baby was too big for the Ergobaby infant insert but too small to be in the carrier without it. I tried rolling a blanket under him but it didn't work very well and he was still smashed inside of the carrier. With the Ergobaby he couldn't have his legs out but was really too big to have them inside of the carrier. He loves having his legs out in the narrow seat infant carry option with the Lillebaby and the carrier doesn't seem to be smashing his head in to my chest as much. To me this is the most important reason why I like the Lillebaby carrier better than the Ergobaby carrier.

2. The hood is removable on the Lillebaby carrier but not on the Ergobaby carrier. I don't see myself ever using the hood and it just adds extra bulk when it's rolled up into the pocket. This is another thing the adds weight/bulk/heat to the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air carrier.

3. The Ergobaby 360 Cool Air carrier has lots of padding on the body of the carrier (under the baby's bottom). To me this seems to defeat the purpose of having the mesh since the carrier was still very thick due to the padding. On the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air carrier there is really only one small section in the middle of the baby's back that is just mesh, the rest of the carrier is heavily padded. The Lillebaby Embossed carrier does not have any padding at all in the body of the carrier which makes is lightweight, cool and more comfortable.

4. The mesh fabric on the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air is scratchy. It seems fine at first but after wearing it for a while it would bother my shoulders and leave marks on my baby's face when he leaned against it. It's winter here so I'm not sure how the mesh on the Ergobaby cool air carrier would feel against his bare legs in the summer but I imagine it wouldn't be good. The fabric on the Lillebaby embossed carrier is super soft and comfortable both inside and out. No more red marks!

5. The Lillebaby carrier has a pocket and the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air carrier does not. Now when I want to walk the dog or get the mail I can bring my keys and phone even if I'm wearing yoga pants with no pockets!

I'm a huge fan of LILLEbaby's Complete 6-in-1 carriers. I have the All Seasons and Airflow as well; the Embossed was my second in this series. Comfort, practicality, ease of use, etc. "” I find all of the Complete the same (all amazing!) with minor differences:

1. Between the Embossed and All Seasons, the Embossed has a more practical pocket if that's important to you. The pocket is always there vs. the All Seasons "disappearing" pocket if you unizip the mid-panel. This also means there's always a place to store the hood.

2. At first, I was worried that this carrier would be too pretty to wear in case it gets dirty. But the fabric on the outside seems like be easy to wipe off spit-up and spills.

3. Loads of folks have said the Embossed feels cooler and is more breathable. I haven't experienced this. For me (California, high 60s-70s) so far, all 3 that I've tried in the Complete line feel the same while front-carrying with baby facing in. It's going to be hot between the two of you no matter what because body heat transfers. For baby's back, I prefer my All Seasons with the middle zipped down and mesh fully exposed for maximum airflow. If you have a lot of things in the Embossed pocket, that's also more layers between the air and baby's back.

The fabric on the inside of the Embossed line is definitely much softer than the mesh and possibly more comfortable for babies. Mine hasn't developed a preference yet. She also has diaper padding.

All in all, a carrier that looks and feels great! I'd recommend it over the All Seasons if style and softness are what you're after, but really all the carriers in the LILLEbaby's Complete line are great.

I had my son 4 years ago and struggled to find a carrier which didn't cause me to arch my bach trying to carry the load he was. I didn't find such a carrier then and ended up not baby wearing as often as I would have liked.

This go round, having an older child, I knew baby wearing was going to be something I had to do just to keep up with him. I have purchased many Tulas for friends over the last few years and they are always well received. I spent a lot of time researching baby wearing and stumbled upon Lillebaby. Several friends recommended them and I decided to give them a shot because it is substantially less expensive than the other brands in which I had been interested.

When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised at how durable the entire construction felt. The material seemed sturdy and the buckles tight.

As it is suggested you can use this baby carrier on your own without assistance, I wanted to see if that rang true. I read the instructions, grabbed the flannel blanket it suggested for newborns, adjusted the straps, and attempted to use this with my baby (over my bed - just in case). Great news - everything it claims is true. Even with my squirmy, tiny baby I can still get her in alone in under a minute.

The real test came when we took our son and new baby girl to the zoo at 2.5 weeks postpartum after having a C-Section. My incision is pretty much healed, but aches if I over do it. After walking around the zoo with her strapped to my front, and ocassionally pulling the wagon with my big kid behind me, I knew I might feel a twinge.

Not at all! The back support, back buckle, and straps saved me! I will be wearing my baby for a long time thanks to Lillebaby!

This is my third baby carrier, and the first one I can say I actually like.
Both of my kids are big - we're talking 20 lbs at 4 months, or wearing 12 month outfits at 4 months - so it's often a challenge to find carriers (or strollers or other equipment) that works for their weight and size while also working for their age/developmental age. We've been using this carrier for almost 3 months now and so far it's worked perfectly every time. Adjusting the seat for a smaller/younger child isn't difficult, and once I had it adjusted properly, we were ready to go without any complaints from the little one. The optional head support and hood/cover are easy to use - I love the way the clips and latches are in exactly the right place, I didn't have to resort to the guidebook to figure out how to make them work. Recently, I've started wearing baby facing out, which he loves even more - in part because he's thrilled to nom on the edges of the carrier - and I'm ok with letting him do it.
The added back support piece is wonderful. Compared to my previous carriers, my back notices the difference and I can wear significantly longer before feeling any strain or discomfort.
I'm around a US womens plus 22/24 and the waist belt fits comfortably (but there's very little additional room on the belt). All the straps have room for my body and the little one without either of us being squished or uncomfortable.
I also like the color and stylish pattern. Sure, the nice features are more important, but I've got to say, I actually look forward to wearing it because it's so pretty. I'm really happy I took the plunge on this carrier and I look forward to using it as long as I can - unlike my previous two, one of which I used 3 times, one of which I used 2 times.
