I would give these skates a 3. They are great for recreational skating of just learning to skate, but if your child is taking lesson, these will make them work twice as hard to skate. They don't keep the skater rolling. I returned a pair on here because the wheel came loose and bought these because they are supposed to be a better skate. I am disappointed that she can't use them especially for the cost.
