Machine Breaks apart from Traveling

Machine broke apart at the Vacuum Screw underneath from laying on its back during travel, after 6 months of purchase. I contacted Pwr-Flite to have repaired, they forward me to a local repair shop. The fix cost me about $90. About 6 months later the same vacuum detaches again from the same scenario, but this time the screw has unthreaded the plastic undercarriage to the point that the vacuum can not be remounted. The under carriage replacement cost about $600; plus about 4 hours of estimated labor, totaling about HALF the cost of the machine, just to get fixed.
