Although I won't often need to staple the 45 page capacity of this machine, I wanted one that had all good reviews and was far more powerful than my ancient Swingline electric stapler, which fails on just a few pages stacked together. This one is awesome! It operates with a resounding blow that I sure will smoothly staple any stack of papers I give it. I also like the 4 suction cup feet which strongly grip the top of my oak desk. It won't be sliding around like the old Swingline did.

We ended up returning the stapler because it was not as pictured online and we had already tried the same stapler that was sent from another place and have had multiple issues with it. We thought we were ordering a sturdier, more heavy duty stapler, but that was not what was sent to us.
