Our kitchen is approx. 13'x12'. We wanted a range hood that would remove fumes and not have to "think" about it. This hood is the answer. The company answered all email inquiries promptly, and the hood arrived earlier than expected. Some people complain about not being able to carry on a conversation when the fan is set on the lowest speed; we have not found this to be the case at all. The information we found about this fan puts the low setting at about 50 decibels or 5 sones. This is equivalent to a quiet inside restaurant. The highest speed is aptly described as "tornado" speed and is loud but evacuates fumes very quickly. The 3 minute delay feature to turn off the fan is nice. The LED lights are amazing and no need to worry about the lights adding extra heat to your cooking area. The lights are very bright and we use them all the time. The hood is easy to clean being stainless and doesn't easily show finger prints. The rounded corners give the hood a nice finished look and it doesn't protrude out so far that my husband hits his head on the hood.

The installation was a breeze. We had to cut a 10"x3" hole in the wall above the stove at the vent height. We inserted a damper adapter into the hole. Next was a test fit of the hood to verify where the electrical cord needed to go. (You can hard wire if you want, but having the option of plugging into a normal outlet makes the install even easier, which we did.) Once we verified the cord route, we hooked the hood on screws underneath the cabinet, plugged it in and it was operational. We have been using the hood since early January 2018.

We would recommend this hood to anyone wanting a hood that looks great and does what a range hood is supposed to do.

For the most part - I'm pleased with the unit. I've only rated it three stars because of the condition it was in as received and the installation requirements.
Condition as received:
1. Baffle was loose and sliding around in the packing. Luckily, there wasn't any cosmetic damage done.
2. AFTER installation, when I powered it up to test the unit (per instructions), one fan was totally out of balance and vibrated uncontrollably and the second never turned at all. The first fan "blade" was actually bent significantly. Eventually, I was able to get it pretty much bent back into the correct shape and it worked with just a slight wobble. The second fan worked (the motor was so quiet I didn't know that it was running). However, the fan blade assembly set screww was missing! Again, I was able to fix it on my own but not all customers would be able to and would either have to call someone in or return the unit.

Installation:
1. It's a two person affair - at least. I was able to do it on my own but I definitely wouldn't suggest it. The unit's too heavy and awkward when trying to position it over the stove.
2. As has been pointed out - the 4, small screws that are intended to hold this unit in place are too small. They MUST be replaced with more adequate sized screws.
3. To correctly poistion the mounting screws, you'll need to make a template. You can measure all day long but, when it comes time to mount the unit, you'll still be off a teeny, tiny bit. I would've knocked off one star just because they didn't include a mounting template.

Operation:
1. Works great and looks great.
2. The light is more than adequate contrary to some of the comments. They're blue-white LEDs so some people may not like the look but, with one on each side, they light up a 36" cook top very nicely with minimal to no shadows.
3. Fan noise is pretty much as described. Certainly not the quietest vent hood but, at the lower speeds, not at all intrusive. I had to use an adapter (stack) to go from the rectangular vent to a round, 7" duct but that wasn't an issue.
4. Automatic power down of the vent is a nice feature and works well.

Overall:
A good unit that performs as expected and as reviewed. Factor in the cost and I'd recommend this unit.

Very sleek looking, and powerful, we like it a lot, but the baffle filters felt off on us while cooking. Luckily, the boiling pot was covered or else the hot content would flash on us, and that wouldn't be good! This happened within a year of use. I contacted the seller regarding the hazard. They said if I could leave a positive review then they would send us a replacement for free, or else it's $10.95 each filter + $5.95 for shipping. It is up to you to view this as a positive or honest review. And it's up to the seller to response to this review.

This range hood is sleek and works great. The little LED lights don't really serve a purpose, but they look pretty cool. Even on the lowest setting, it's a little loud but it definitely helps remove cooking smells from the kitchen. I rarely turn it up above the second level. Since our house is an older house (1950s), the range hood was retrofitted and vents out into the garage. I can tell it's working because the garage starts smelling like whatever I'm cooking if I don't open the door for ventilation. It matches all of our new stainless steel appliances and looks modern. It was a little tricky to install, but my husband is pretty handy so he figured it out.

Had to return; the top and side edges looked to be "buffed out" too much at the finishing process. Others might not have a problem with this, but the stainless grain did not match. Plus it came delivered with a small dent.
Also plugged it in - it seemed to be pretty load, but it does move a lot of air, so some noise is expected.
Shipping was quick... to note; it's sent by FedEx and a signature is required. Return was was hassle free after sharing photos, thus the 2 stars (vs 1).
