Beats the heck out of buying the power/video wires and hoping you got one long enough. Especially true if you have to drill holes through block walls because the hole only has to be big enough for the cat5 cable.
I can't tell the difference between cameras connected to the 100-150' cat5 cables and the ones connected to 60' cables that came with the DVR.
