We purchased this sheild for a Garmin Drivesmar 60 GPS which we KNEW, based on Amazon Reviews, was too shiny, so we were not surprised when this was the case. We had also thought that purchasing a shield such as this one, would probably help with reducing some of the glare. This was not the exact size, but cutting it made it fit very well. However, the application of this shield was not as good as applying another one we had used for our tablet (yes, all my electronics, including the telephone and tabled "died" at the same time), the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield, which came with liquid to clean off the screen and apply on the shield. I don't do 'bubbles'! I didn't get it returned in time because caregiver moved the return box instead of taking it to UPS for me (idiot!). I'm disabled, so after seeing all the 'how to' instructions....no way could my nerve damaged fingers and slight tremors ever get it lined up and bubble free! Intimidated? You bet! Thought new caregiver could help...but after see just the why she did a few dishes...new that wasn't happening! Ended up having to buy an entire cover (shock-proof) that had screen protection built-in (no bubbles!), so ended up paying for both which almost came to what I paid for the Fire 5th Gen.!!

Everything was on point... The delivery was very timely, the product and its packaging very attractive as well with a lifetime warranty that sure is unbeatable. The promised no smudge, durable totally worthy.
The only failing in my opinion is that it's isn't as easy as 1, 2, 3... I purchased a 3 pack of shields praying I wouldn't need to toss any out that failed to install but alas 😞😞😞 I had to toss one out due to dust sticking to the film (and using the bubble remover embeds any particle of dust to the film) and although they give you this easy video to follow online it does not translate to anyone just jumping in and doing it like that. We got one on with 2 tiny dust bubbles but were afraid to lift and spoil a second film as I have another tablet to put the last one on so not taking any chances. If you know how or done it a million times then it's probably easy for you ... For those with a nervous hand or not too confident go to a retailer who sells the stuff and get them to put it on, for me a few bucks for the service is less frustration and gray hairs for me.

Very good product. It took me 2 tries but I got the second one on with no issue. I would highly recommend them. The 1st one didn't work because of some dust left that was still present on the Kindle screen, so I just removed it. I highly suggest following the instructions and watching the tutorial. It is very informative and explains what the other items in the package are for and how to use them properly. Like removing dust particles under the screen protector after you place it on. The only suggestion I would give is they should include a micro cloth. They seem to do a better job of getting the smudge marks off the screen. The one that is provided really didn't work well for me as it was very coarse and didn't remove the streaks and finger prints so I give a point deduction for that. Other than that, it is a great product.

the screen protectors themselves are great i will be definitely purchase Mr Shield again, unfortunately the instillation kit is not so good, I install my whole family's screen protectors, I don't even let people in-store install them as they never do it to my standards. as i said the screen protectors are great but chuck the cardboard card to help push out bubbles and use a plastic credit/reward card instead, as for the blue static screen cleaners which are rather useless, instead I suggest pulling off step 1 of the screen protector and laying that over the screen, that will clear off all the little dust particles and tiny little hairs that always come of the cleaning cloths, and instead of using the lint free cloths that are far too small and still leave lint use a glasses cleaning cloth works much better or if you have the a quick dry screen cleaner like the ones you can get for tv's.

I installed 2 of these, the first i tried the kit supplied, not good i got it on after i resorted to my own methods and had to clean the screen protector with enclosed yellow screen cleaning stickers, also don't use them on the screen as they leave a sticky residue, the next i did my way which was much easier and took only a minute or two instead of nearly 10.
