The plates were decoratively GORGEOUS!!! Very thin, but deceivingly beautiful!!!! Perfect for using and tossing without the worry of recollecting, especially since my husband and I hosted a destination wedding!!! NONE of our items arrived broken, plus they survived my re-packing AND a plane ride. Our settings included 3 of the sizes sold - 10.25in, 9in, and 7in.

Have these for my birthday party. The sides have actual holes, which I didn't realize before (like stencil). This way people can't really overpack the plate at the buffet, so I guess it works out good for me. I set them on the table on gold charger plates. Was just beautiful.

Looks nice. But the gold border is not solid. There are holes in it. So you can only put food on the white part. If you have sauces or juices on your plate it will spill through. Not entirely bad but I might have bought other plates had I known. (We served food with barbecue sauce ) hope this helps.

I received the 10" 25 Gold Heavy Plastic and noticed that the plates were well protected. I did not open it until today. I saw the picture and I like them. My Victorian Wedding is on June 10th! I could kick myself for not doing so. The plates are very thin and fragile. I would not dare use them for hot food and is exactly what will be served at my Wedding. The plates are only safe for cold food. I am very disappointed. I have no time to return them or to order other fancy plates. I now need to purchase plates in the supermarket. I am so upset. I ordered the small ones for the cake. They are thin too! I would advice not to purchase the large size for hot food!
