This kit is awesome with an incredible variety of thread colors as well as everything else you could want for sewing, such as good, small scissors, measuring tape and a few buttons and pins. I plan on keeping it in an apartment we use to in the summer. Although the spools are small, they should last quite a while, especially because of the extra spools - all in so many colors. Of course, I'll still use my bigger sewing supplies @ home that is way too bulky to travel with.

This has anything and more you think you would ever need to make quick last-minute mends or adjustments. Nice compact size. I have another kit that only has one size needle; this one has a variety. It lost 1 star because, ironically, the zipper is very flimsy and will easily go off track and even break. Mine got a kink in it the first time I tried to zip it closed.
