I mounted these on a ~14" x 8 inch PVC "board" from our local hardware store. Else the stainless numbers were a bit "lost" on our gray house. Very pleased with the look and quality.

Good product, looks great, however, don't drill the large holes and put the anchors in. Drill a 11/64 hole and they will fit with pressure, use wood glue if you want them more secure.
