I got these very quickly, they are very cute and look well made. First off, I am a person with very high arches, so I have to wear arch supports, but with these I don't!! These shoes are amazing!! Go one size up. I went to Ireland and they kept me warm. I was dry in pouring down rain. I didn't run through puddles but I definitely walked in the rain. I also went hiking over the summer and felt secure. Amazing shoes. My teenager wants a pair now and great price!!

I didn't order a 1/2 size up, because they do not come any larger than a 9 and that is what I wear. They are comfortable, they do need to be broken in a bit as they are a little tight around the top of the tongue when tied. One of the holes for the laces looks like it is not attached very good, but they should last until I am done with my trip. I haven't worn them in the rain yet, so I can't say if they will hold up well in the rain.
