Cheap plastic, easily breaks, but overall functions as intended.
David•August 12, 2018
These do work just fine, but the plastic ear pieces that hold them on your head are cheap and flimsy. As other have mentioned, they do not fold, so you have to take them off to put back in the protective bag. (Or cut a hole in one side as another reviewer mentioned.) The bad thing is, these are just like those thin one piece plastic glasses at the movie theaters, and as such, they fit on your head by tension. I don't have a huge head, but in the middle of watching a movie, the ear piece literally snapped off and flew across the room, and of course the glasses fell right off my face and are unusable now. Sure they're much cheaper than official Sony glasses, but you get what you pay for. Even before they broke, the design of the glasses is very uncomfortable. The bridge of the nose is a sharp 90 degree angle where it sits on your nose itself. So within 30 minutes of watching a movie, you'll have a ridge etched into your nose and at least for me, was distractingly bothersome. The official Sony glasses have a soft pad like real glasses to cushion your nose. Definitely worth the extra cost for improved build quality and comfort during a 90-120+ minute movie. I bought 4 pair of these, but returning them all and buying the higher quality sets.
One major fatal flaw

The glasses pair well with my Sony projector, and work well with little ghosting for the most part. I own 6 pairs and only one exhibits ghosting consistently.
However, the arms that attach to the main part of the glasses are extremely brittle and easily break! Just from sitting on your head. Used a total of 6 hours. The remaining piece of broken arm is really sharp and cuts into your head, so the glasses are essentially useless. Out of 6 pairs, 12 total arms, I've had 6 arms break already.
To make it worse, I've contacted Sintron, explained the situation, and asked for replacement arms. They said "no problem", asked for my order number and address, and despite contacting them multiple times and submitted multiple replacement requests, I've never received a single replacement. I've waited over 3 months and still no arms.
Stay away from these! I've ordered the Nierbo and ExQuizOn ones, tried them out, and appear to work really well. The arms aren't nearly as flimsy.

Don't buy these cheap, inferior glasses. not worth even a dollar each.

I thought these would be good when I first got them. They are so flimsy you have to be VERY gentle when putting them on or you'll break a side ear piece. I did my second time wearing a pear. The button to turn them on is very hard to find. You have to take them off to press the button and you have to do it with a finger nail. The worst thing is the battery compartment won't stay closed. When it pops itself open you lose power to the glasses and they have to be turned back on again.
Nicely priced, perfect SYNCH with newest SONY Projectors, etc.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, these 3D GLASSES synch PERFECTLY with SONY's VPLVW285ES 2018 projector and certainly others in this series. They simply work and offer a bright 3D image. They are lightweight. They are going to be a bit snug on big heads, as the plastic frames use the tension of the arms around your head to keep them in place. The nose bridge is hard plastic and sits in such a way that the sides have no contact with your nose. What does this mean? You may want to apply a silicon or similar pad at that point of contact on the bridge of your nose. It's not a deal-breaker, but you may get complaints from viewers.

THIS IS A STEAL.
There! I said it! I stand by it.
I bought a Sony 3D about 6 months ago and only now got around to actually buying a 3D player and the glasses. The only problem is, Sony's 3D glasses are $80!
$80 for a single pair.
You get two (2) pairs of these Sintron Active 3D glasses for... wait for it... $30!
There's nothing you need to do with these glasses except to connect the arms of the glasses and put in one of the two batteries that supplied.
You just need to make certain that your Blu ray player is 3D compatible and that you change the default setting on your tv to "3D on."
It's still amazing to me that Sony would still charge $80 for a pair of 3D glasses for a feature that only on their highest-end televisions.
