Great product, installed now for a week so far it works great. Install was on a KLR 650 2016. On may 2016 KLR there was a black wire red wire and a blue wire. The strobe wiring was attached black wire to black wire and blue wire to red wire and the unit worked perfectly. Solid build small in size easy install.

This flasher does exactly what you would expect, it makes your light/lights flash! It flashes rapidly for a second, then 3 or 4 slow blinks, then solid on. I installed this in the brake light on a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. Took me a couple of minutes to make sure I had the correct wires. Then used 4 wire quick splicers and was pretty much finished. Both black wires can connect to the same ground going to the brake and tail light. Then pull the plug apart that goes to the brake light and hook the red wires to each end making sure you put the input wire to the input and the output to the output wire.
Flashes 4 times super fast.
Then 4 blinks at about one second apart.
Then stays on.

Does just what it says. Flash pattern is a second or two of quick flashes, then three slower, then solid. Took my bike to get inspected after installing and they passed it no problem. Make sure you observe the directional requirements. You will have to cut and splice wires to install this, so be ready for that. Negative wire is just your ground wire. I used a heat gun and shrink wrap and it was a piece of cake.
