Received on time in good condition. Some minor assembly required with a phillips head screw driver (or battery operated drill/screw gun). If you use a battery operated drill be sure to lower the torque if you can to avoid splitting the wood.
The crate went together easily and looks very nice. I think it was *slightly* overpriced for what it is, hence the 4 stars, but overall it is a decent value.

Let's be clear, this is a cheap piece of furniture straight from China. But for what it is, the product is just fine. It took me about 20 minutes to assemble from the flat pack box. Instructions are minimal but this isn't rocket science. You only need a philips screw driver and it'll go together pretty fast.
If you want a high quality record storage option, find a local woodworker to build something to your specifications. If you're looking for cheap and fast, this little storage crate will work.

Was a gift for my son who inherited the 70's and 80's era sound system my wife wouldn't let me play because pictures would fall off the wall 3 floors up. Heh heh heh ... so, he gets my vinyl collection too...including the marginal stuff my wife brought into the relationship 35 years ago (Rex Smith's Greatest Hits - as if he really had any - et al...). Yeah, if he wanted the good stuff, he had to take the roughage too.
Anyway, he liked it enough to get a couple more of them. I wish I had kept the old plastic milk crates I used back then. Would have saved him $30 a shot. Only drawback is that these things are not stackable. If you have a ton of vinyl, you can chew up a lot of valuable floor space.
